Darin Downs gave up a sac fly in the top of the 10th as the Mud Hens lost their third straight game. Andrew Oliver gave up just one earned run over six innings in the start, but the offense didn’t give him much support. Oliver walked four and struck out five, leaving the game after 103 pitches with the score tied at one. Eric Patterson went 1-for-4 with the lone RBI for Toledo. All six Toledo hits were singles.

Mark Sorensen gave up four earned runs over two innings to move to 0-2 on the season. Patrick Cooper gave up three earned runs in three innings of relief. Jordan Lennerton went 1-for-4 with a double and the lone RBI for Erie. Bryan Pounds went 1-for-4 with a double. No SeaWolves player had multiple hits.

Kevin Eichhorn went eight innings, giving up four earned runs and picking up the win. Wade Gaynor went 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Hernan Perez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run. Nick Castellanos went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run scored. Bruce Rondon pitched a perfect ninth to pick up the save.
