Wilson Letting It Go

LYNCYBURG, VA - Pitcher Andrew Wilson is well accustomed to life in Lynchburg, Virginia. A Liberty University graduate, the Hillcats reliever feels right at home taking the mound ten minutes down the road from his old college. If only he could transfer that level of comfort to the mound in Double-A Mississippi.

"He's a strike-thrower," Lynchburg pitching coach Derek Botelho said. "He's consistent, and he pitches with confidence. He's a guy that we can depend upon in any role in the game. "If we wanted him early, middle or late, he was there. That's the kind of confidence we have, and we've always had, in him. What he does in Double-A, I don't know."
