Fulmer Working His Way Back

ST. LUCIE, FL – When right-hander Michael Fulmer joined the Mets earlier this year, expectations were high. Thus, not surprisingly, Fulmer was expected to become one of the anchors on St. Lucie's pitching staff. But little did the young pitcher know that his first season in the Florida State League would unfold a lot differently than he had hoped.

"I went down to Spring Training this year," Fulmer remembered, "everything felt fine, healthy as can be, you know.
