The Mississippi Braves will start Chris Waters today as they go for win number seven in a row in Carolina. The Braves Show's Bill Shanks takes a look at Sunday's schedule around the Atlanta Braves' farm system.

RICHMOND


Richmond closes out its series with Syracuse Sunday afternoon starting at 2:00 at the Diamond. Right-hander Kevin Barry will go for the Braves. He was 2-1 in May with a 0.30 ERA in five games. The Braves are now 23-32, 16.5 games back of Charlotte in the International League's South Division.


MISSISSIPPI


Lefty Chris Waters will be on the mound as the Braves go for their seventh win in a row. Waters is 3-3 on the season with a 3.75 ERA in his first ten starts. The Braves are 25-31 on the season, 11.5 games back of Jacksonville in the Southern League's South Division.


MYRTLE BEACH


Myrtle Beach closes out its series with Potomac Sunday afternoon at 1:05 pm. Jake Stevens will pitch for the Pelicans. He's 1-5 on the season with a 6.62 ERA, but Stevens is coming off his best game of the season last week (2 runs, 1 earned run, 7 hits, 0 walks, and 3 strikeouts in 7 innings of work). The Pelicans are 27-28 on the season, eleven games back of Kinston in the Carolina League's Southern Division.


ROME


Rome ends its road trip with a 2:05 game Sunday afternoon at Grayson Stadium in Savannah. Righty Chris Vines will pitch for the Braves, who are 37-17 and still 7.5 games up on Augusta in the Sally League's Southern Division.
