Rome will have yet another Atlanta Brave on the roster tonight as reliever Phil Stockman makes a rehab appearance at State Mutual Stadium. The Braves Show's Bill Shanks looks at the entire minor league schedule for Wednesday.
RICHMOND
Richmond is off today. They start an eight-game road trip Thursday in Syracuse.
Daniel Curtis
should get the start for the Braves, who are 34-55 on the season and 24 games back of Charlotte in the International League's South Division.
MISSISSIPPI
After the three-day All Star Break, Mississippi plays tonight in Huntsville with Francisely Bueno on the hill. The lefty is 1-2 this season with a 2.86 ERA. He'll face Steve Hammond (1-1, 1.06) tonight starting a 8:05 ET. The Braves are 6-14 in the second half.
MYRTLE BEACH
Myrtle Beach takes on Winston-Salem tonight at Coastal Federal Field. Right-hander
Luis Atilano
, who is 3-3 with a 2.74 ERA in his last eight starts, will get the call for Myrtle Beach. The Pelicans are in first place in the Carolina League's Southern Division with a 11-6 record.
ROME
Rome will have yet another rehab pitcher making an appearance tonight, the fifth time an Atlanta Brave has played for the Rome team.
Phil Stockman
, on the Atlanta DL with a hamstring injury, will pitch for Rome.
Dustin Evans
, who was fantastic in his Rome debut last week, will also pitch for the Braves, who are 8-11 on the season and 8 full games back of the red hot Augusta Greenjackets.
DANVILLE
Jamie Richmond, who has been outstanding this season with a 3-0 record and a 1.27 ERA, will start for Danville tonight when they host Bluefield at 7:00 pm. The Braves are 11-9 on the season, five games back of Pulaski in the Appy League's East Division.
GCL BRAVES
The GCL Braves are off today. They are 8-10 so far this season.
