The Braves Show's Bill Shanks previews today's action around the Braves' farm system.
RICHMOND
Matt Wright
(1-4, 7.45) heads to the mound tonight in Columbus to try and snap Richmond's three-game losing streak. He'll be opposed by Kris Wilson. Richmond is now 48-75 on the season and 23 games back of Charlotte in the International League's South Division.
MISSISSIPPI
Mississippi takes on Tennessee tonight at 7:15 pm with Braves' lefty

(0-2, 7.20). The Braves have lost two in a row and are now 21-30 in the second half, 8 games back of Jacksonville in the Southern League's South Division.
MYRTLE BEACH
The Pelicans take on Lynchburg tonight starting at 7:05. Myrtle Beach right-hander
Steve Russell
(4-1, 3.93) will oppose
Luis Munoz
(1-3, 4.50). The Pelicans have been on a roll, winning three straight to improve their record to 27-24. They are four games back of Salem in the Carolina League's Southern Division.
ROME
Rome has a double-header with Asheville tonight starting at 6:05.
Beau Jones
(4-3, 4.84) should get one of the starts, and with
Dustin Evans
scheduled to skip a start we may see
Jake Stevens
get the call in one of the games. Stevens has been outstanding recently pitching exclusively out of the bullpen. The Braves are 22-27 in the second half, 15 games back of Augusta in the Sally League's Southern Division.
DANVILLE
Danville is playing an afternoon game with Kingsport today. Braves' ace Jamie Richmond is on the mound. He's 7-1 this season with a 0.66 ERA. The Braves are 31-23 and still in first place, 2 games up on Pulaski.
GCL BRAVES
The Gulf Coast League Braves are off today. They are 22-24 on the season and 7 games back of the Tigers with only four games left in the season.
