The Braves Show will have three of Atlanta's top pitching prospects in the chatroom on Tuesday night.
Matt Harrison will chat starting at 7:00 pm ET, followed by Will Startup around 8:00 pm, and then Tommy Hanson at 10:00 pm.
Harrison is one of the Braves' top two starting pitching prospects. He started the 2006 season at Myrtle Beach and was 8-4 in 13 starts with a 3.10 ERA. He was then moved to AA Mississippi and was 3-4 in 13 games with a 3.61 ERA.
Startup pitched in three different levels of the Braves' farm system in 2006. The southpaw started in Myrtle Beach and pitched in only one scoreless inning. Then he moved on to AA Mississippi where he blew through the Southern League. Startup posted a 0.72 ERA in 16 games, allowed only 18 hits in 25 innings, 6 walks, and 29 strikeouts. Then he went to AAA Richmond and had a 3.43 ERA in 30 games.
Hanson signed as a draft and follow player in May and was sent to Danville in the Appalachian League. He was 4-1 in 13 games with a 2.09 ERA. The tall right-hander allowed only 12 runs on 42 hits in 51.2 innings, with just 9 walks and 56 strikeouts.
