Here's a look at today's schedule in the Braves' farm system.
RICHMOND
The Braves are at Durham's Athletic Park for game three of the four-game series with the Bulls. Atlanta starter
Mark Redman
will get a rehab start for Richmond today when the game begins at 5:00 pm. Right-handed pitcher
Jeff Niemann
(3-1, 3.47) will go for Durham. With two wins in a row Richmond is now at 23-9 on the season, 8.5 games up on Durham in the International League's South Division.
MISSISSIPPI
The Braves continue the series in Birmingham Sunday starting at 3:05 pm ET.
Jo Jo Reyes
(3-1, 3.38) will go for the Braves and face Barons' right-hander
Adam Russell
(3-2, 2.29). Mississippi has the same record as its parent club: 24-12. The Braves are 3.5 games up on Jacksonville in the Southern League's South Division.
MYRTLE BEACH
The Pelicans take on Frederick this afternoon at 3:05 at Coastal Federal Field.
Jairo Cuevas
(0-5, 4.20) goes for his first win of the season. Myrtle Beach is four games out of first place in the Carolina League's Southern Division with a record of 16 wins and 19 losses.
ROME
It's game two of the four-game series for Rome in Columbus, taking on the Catfish at Golden Park starting at 2:00 pm ET. The Braves will send right-hander
Jeff Lyman
to the mound to try and stop a two-game losing streak. Lyman is 0-5 on the season with a 4.68 ERA, but he's pitched well in his last three games (three earned runs allowed in his last 16.1 innings pitched). The Braves are 10-25 on the season, 16.5 games back of Augusta in the South Atlantic League's Southern Division.
