Here's today's schedule around the Braves' farm system.
RICHMOND
The Braves play game two of the four-game set in Toledo late this afternoon at 6:30.
Lance Cormier
(4-1, 3.60) will pitch for Richmond against
Virgil Vasquez
(9-3, 3.82). The Braves have won seven of their last ten and are 60-45 on the season, three games up on Durham in the International League's South Division.
MISSISSIPPI
Right-hander
James Parr
(3-3, 4.65) goes for the Braves tonight in game two of the five-game series in Mobile. Game time is 7:05 at Hank Aaron Stadium.
Matt Green
(10-5, 3.70) will go for the Bay Bears. Mississippi has now lost seven in a rown and is now 13 games back of Jacksonville in the Southern League's South Division.
MYRTLE BEACH
The Pelicans send right-hander
Tommy Hanson
to the mound tonight against Lynchburg at Coastal Federal Field. Hanson is 1-1 with a 3.27 ERA in the Carolina League. Overall this season Hanson is 3-7 with a 2.75, 66 hits in 95 innings, 40 walks, and 116 strikeouts. Myrtle Beach is 20-15 in the second half, one game back of Kinston in the Carolina League's Southern Division.
ROME
The Braves are off Sunday. They host Lexington starting Monday night at State Mutual Stadium in game one of a four-game series. The Braves have won two in a row and are 18-18 in the second half, five games back of Asheville in the South Atlantic League's Southern Division.
DANVILLE
It's a seven-game winning streak for the Danville Braves, but they'll have to wait another day to try and extend that streak as they have Sunday off. They'll travel to Burlington Monday night for a game at 7:00 pm. The Braves lead the Appy League's East Division by five games over Burlington and have a 25-10 record.
GCL BRAVES
The GCL Braves are off Sunday. They'll travel to Tampa Monday night to play the Yankees at 7:00 pm. The Braves are 9-26 on the season, 15 games back of the Yankees in the GCL North Division.
