Here's today's schedule around the Braves' farm system.

RICHMOND

Richmond stopped their long seven-game losing streak Tuesday night with a 13-3 victory over Syracuse. The two teams will play game three of a four-game series tonight at 7:00. Lefty Jonathan Rouwenhorst (5-3, 3.65) will go for Richmond against right-hander Kane Davis (3-5, 3.72). Richmond is now 25-26 on the season, a game and a half back of Durham in the International League’s South Division.

The Braves signed infielder Enrique Cruz, who played 60 games with Milwaukee in 2003 and then one game with Cincinnati last season, to a Richmond contract.

MISSISSIPPI

Right-hander Todd Redmond (4-1, 3.30) will get the start for Mississippi tonight as the Braves play game three of the series with West Tennessee starting at 8:05 pm ET. Travis Chick (2-1, 2.48) goes for the Diamond Jaxx. Atlanta reliever Mike Gonzalez will also make his first rehab appearance with Mississippi tonight. Gonzalez is scheduled to pitch both tonight and on Friday for the M-Braves. Mississippi is now 20-32 on the season, but they’ve played .500 ball (11-11) at home at Trustmark Park.

MYRTLE BEACH

The Pelicans play a game at Noon today against Winston-Salem at Ernie Shore Field. Myrtle Beach will be going for its seventh win in a row and their sixth straight win on the seven-game road trip. The Pelicans have played very well on the road this season, with the 21-9 record the best in the Carolina League. Right-hander Deunte Heath (6-2, 3.51) will go for the Pelicans. Heath has struggled a bit in May despite a 3-2 record. He’s allowed 18 earned runs and walked 14 in 29 innings. Levi Maxwell goes for the Warthogs. Myrtle Beach is 32-19 on the season, 8.5 games up on Kinston in the Carolina League’s Southern Division.

Gorkys Hernandez has been activated by the Pelicans. He missed 32 games with a hamstring injury. Outfielder Yohan Silva and infielder Chad Lundahl were sent to Rome.

ROME

The Rome Braves are off Wednesday. They start a four-game series against Asheville at State Mutual Stadium Thursday night. Rome has won five of its last six and are now 18-33, 17 games out of first place in the Sally League’s Southern Division.
