One of the developers of talent in the Braves' system had a big honor Saturday night.

Myrtle Beach manager Rocket Wheeler won his 272nd game Saturday night as the skipper of the Pelicans, making him their all-time winningest manager.

Wheeler is in his 7th season as a member of the Braves' farm system. He spent his first three years as the manager in Rome, before joining Myrtle Beach in 2006.

Wheeler passed Randy Ingle, who managed Myrtle Beach from 2002-2005.
