Thomson Disabled; Matt Childers Recalled Premium Story

The Atlanta Braves have placed right-handed starter John Thomson on the 15-day disabled list with a strained flexor tendon in the middle finger of his right hand. Thomson will be re-examined Wednesday to determine the severity of the injury.
