| Biography: |
| Kevin Barry has put up solid numbers throughout his minor league career. Entering 2006, his career ERA was 2.72. Last season Barry started off slow in Richmond, but was sent to Double-A to work with pitching coach Kent Willis, who made some slight adjustments on Barry's mechanics. Barry got back on track and was fantastic for the rest of the season. The Braves made him a starter late in 2005, and Barry did very (3-0 in his last six starts with an ERA of 1.00). Barry started off back in the bullpen in Richmond this season, but he's now in the Triple-A starting rotation. If he continues to do well, Barry is going to get his chance in the big leagues - eventually. |
