| Anthony Lerew is the Braves' best right-handed pitching prospect. He had a solid season in 2005, split between Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Richmond. Lerew was 10-6 with an ERA of 3.71 in 27 games started. Then he was promoted to Atlanta, where he pitched in seven games in relief. Lerew went to spring training with an outside shot at winning a bullpen job with the Braves, but he struggled with an ERA of 13.50 in six games. Lerew still might be a reliever one day, but for now he's in Richmond's starting rotation. |
