| Chris Waters was drafted in the fifth round of the famed 2000 draft for the Atlanta Braves. He was on the fast track to the big leagues when he came down with shoulder trouble in 2004. After surgery at the end of that season, he finally came back last year to start 17 games for Myrtle Beach. Now completely healthy, Waters will be in Mississippi's rotation. He could be a Frank Dipino-type lefty reliever when he reaches the big leagues. |
