Biography:
"Salty Dog" is the premiere catching prospect in baseball. He's a tall switch-hitting catcher with plus power and solid receiving skills. The only question, of course, is whether or not he will remain behind the plate. With Brian McCann already in Atlanta and establishing himself as one of the top young catchers in the minors, Salty might have to move to another position. But wherever he plays, he's going to be a huge presence in the lineup. He's got tremendous power and could hit 30-40 home runs a season in the big leagues. For now, he'll start out in Mississippi, but don't be shocked if he's in Atlanta at some point this season.
