| Biography: |
| The Braves drafted Tyler Bullock out of Baylor University in the sixth round of the 2005 draft. He's an amazing story in that he really didn't start pitching seriously until his junior season at Baylor. Bullock was a catcher, and in fact the Bears' starting catcher versus left-handed pitching as a sophomore. He had pitched ten games as a freshman, but did not pitch at all in his second season. Bullock moved back to the mound his junior season and pitched in 22 games. The Braves believed he had potential on the mound and spent a sixth round choice on him. Bullock did well in Danville last season, pitching in 14 games in relief. He's been moved to the rotation this year in Rome to get some quality innings, even though his long-term future might still be as a reliever. |
