| Michael Nix was drafted by the Braves in the 11th round of the 2005 draft out of the University of Auburn. Nix pitched in five games for Danville in 2005 (1-0, 0.00) before being promoted to Rome, where he was 1-3 with a 7.17 ERA in 18 games. Nix has returned to Rome for the start of the 2006 season, but he might not be there long. He had a strong spring training and a good start to his season. Nix is a tall, hard-throwing reliever with solid potential. |
