| Chuck James had an unbelievable minor league career. In 66 games (62 starts), James was 25-13 with an ERA of 2.04. He allowed only 221 hits in 343.2 innings, 103 walks, and 417 strikeouts. James changes speeds on his fastball very well, and is still developing his slider and changeup. He seems to be a pitcher that is difficult for opposing hitters to pick up, and that has led to tremendous success. James started out in the Braves' bullpen this season, but he might find himself in the Atlanta rotation before the end of the season. |
