| Chad Rodgers was drafted in the 3rd round (100th overall) by the Atlanta Braves in the 2006 Amateur Draft. He was 18-0 in his career at Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga, Ohio. Rodgers was the Player of the Year in Ohio's Division II by the Cincinnati Post. Rodgers is a lean lefty that spots the ball real well. He rarely gets the ball up in the zone, keeping his 88-92 mph fastball down. Rodgers has drawn comparisons to lefties Jeremy Sowers and Cliff Lee. |
