Biography:
Steve Evarts was the Braves' supplemental first round pick in the 2006 Amateur Draft. He was one of the top lefties in Florida, graduating from Robinson High School in Tampa. With his size, Evarts has drawn comparisons to former Brave starter Steve Avery. He features a fastball that reaches 94 and an outstanding changeup.
