| Biography: |
| Neftali Feliz signed with the Braves in June of 2005 out of the Dominican Republic. He made a huge first impression in spring trainig of 2006 showing an outstanding fastball. Feliz pitched in the GCL last summer as an 18-year-old and had a very solid debut in the states. Baseball America named him the 8th best prospect in the Gulf Coast League. Feliz has a fastball in the high-90s right now, and the Braves believe once he matures physically that fastball could reach 100 mph. He'll probably be in Danville in 2007, but do not rule out an appearance in Rome sometime this summer. |
