Biography:
Tommy Palica had a great sophomore season at Golden West Community College in 2007. He was 7-1 with a 3.05 ERA with 34 walks and 146 strikeouts in 115 innings. The Braves then selected him in the 10th round of the 2007 amateur draft. Palica went to Danville and mostly saw action out of the bullpen. The Braves will give him a chance to compete for a rotation spot in Rome for the 2008 season.
