| The Braves acquired Vazquez from the White Sox with reliever Boone Logan for infielder Brent Lillibridge, catcher Tyler Flowers, third baseman Jon Gilmore, and pitcher Santos Rodriguez. Vazquez has averaged 32 starts, 12.5 wins, and 215 innings in the last nine seasons. The Braves expect him to be an innings-eater and occupy the second spot in the 2009 rotation. |
