Jones Makes Good First Impression

Jones held lefties to a .244 batting average

Lefty reliever Chris Jones, formerly with the Cleveland Indians organization, focused last offseason on getting in shape. He didn't do anything new this year even though it was to be his first in Double-A and his first season in the Braves' organization, and he ended it making a good first impression.

"I waited until about December, and then I started running a little bit and got a personal trainer. I worked out four to five times a week. It was a more of gain lean mass, trying to get your body fat in a good average, all the way up to throwing in spring training" Jones said.
